As a single mom, each day brings new surprises. I’m here to show you how to transform negativity into positivity.
Let’s say on your way to work, a guy in a blue truck is holding up traffic, and you’re 10 minutes late.
Because of that negative moment, negative energy will linger throughout your day. If you’re unaware, you should become conscious of that moment and redirect that energy into something positive to change the day’s trajectory.
You may notice that your energy has shifted in how you speak and respond throughout your day. You may become impatient and irritable and feelings of stress may overwhelm you.
You seem to be less cheerful and positive.
You may say to yourself, “That guy was a jerk” or “I’m not in the mood today,” and allow that moment to replay itself throughout your day.
So, I figure out ways to be aware of the moments and turn them into something positive.
Being mindful is important because it allows you to be aware of how your energy has shifted and how you are responding throughout your day.
However, it’s important not to stay in that mental state too long. When one thing happens, it’s like a domino effect, and before you know it, it’s 3:30 p.m. in your work day, and you’re feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
So always be aware of anything that may change your energy, especially if you’re a single mother. As a single mother, anything can happen at any moment, and it falls on you, whether it be a problem at home, with the kids or even the dog.
It’s important to stay in tune with how we’re feeling and handling the day so that we can show up in all the ways that we need to show up.
Mindfulness is essential because it allows you to become aware of changing a negative into a positive.
This may look like taking 5 minutes to write in your journal or doing a 5-minute breathing exercise.
When I’m in a state, I focus on two critical things: breathing exercises and relaxing my body. When something gives me negative energy, I often feel tense, especially on my shoulders.
Five minutes can drastically change your mood and bring your mind, body, and spirit into a relaxed state.
I enjoy immersing myself in nature’s beauty and staying connected with my surroundings through outdoor walks.
So, I like to envision myself at the beach on a hot, sunny day, feeling the sand between my toes, watching the waves crash, and letting the sound of the Waves crashing flow throughout my body to wash away the negative energy.
This helps you regain your power to create balance and clarity and continue your day.
This is a great tool. If we’re not aware of each moment and how we can project it into something positive, we can sometimes feed into that energy that we felt before, especially if we have limiting beliefs.
That moment confirmed your emotion and that it’s how you stay in negative energy. Negative moments can live rent-free and create more negative experiences you don’t want.
I encourage you to practice mindfulness and self-care.
I noticed that these two concepts work hand in hand and are essential to ensure that we live a well-balanced life.
So whatever situation you face, take a moment to view it positively to create an abundance of positive energy that will Be best for your future.
